It's A Knock-Out!
‘It’s a Knock Out’ was one of the most popular shows of the 1970’s with water flying everywhere, fun and laughter and the traditional ‘Joker’ cards doubling up the scores for each teams best event.
Every year we hold our own version and thanks to the local fire brigade water is in abundance with most of the activities having a water theme.
Teams of four tackle the challenging events with the Spanish waiter game proving popular with the ‘waiters’ being pelted with sponges while trying to fill the bucket at the end of the course with their trays of drinks. The wellie race is also popular with the competitiors going round the course in wellies full of water and filling the bucket at the end with what water remained in the boots.
Other events include egg catching, with some very messy results, target golf, bowling, penalty prize and the plank game.
