Lewis fastest at the EABC 2009 Go-Karting Championship
The AB PHAB Youth Club, East Tilbury Youth Centre, Eight Ash Green Youth Group, Wivenhoe Youth Group and 4 Youth all took part in this years Go-Karting Championships held at Indikart in Colchester.
The newly established Eight Ash Green Youth Group taking part in their first EABC event took first and second place with Lewis Turvey recording the all important fastest laps in both the first and second races of the evening to win the Championship. He was closely pursued by Ben Knowles also from Eight Ash Green and Ben’s efforts saw him finish in a close second place. The battle for third was really tight with less than a second separating 3rd and 11th place on the final results table. Brett Stocking from 4 Youth edged it with his last drive to take the final spot on the podium.
